Kentucky's 67th District State Representative Rachel Roberts was inspired to run for office by her mother. She finds the job of legislating rewarding, as it satisfies her innate curiosity to learn about her constituents and community on a personal level.

Roberts is passionate about addressing mental health issues in her district. During her Know Your Electeds interview, she shares that if she could pass any bill tomorrow, it would be one that provides greater access to mental health services.

In three words, Roberts describes her district as "resilient, scrappy and beautiful". Her first job was as a drive-thru worker at Burger King, she even started when she was too young to work without a permission form.
