KENTUCKY — Voters in the city of Lexington made history in Nov. 2022 by electing the first Asian-American ever to serve on the 15-person Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council. 

And as the top vote getter in the council-at-large race, Dan Wu also has taken on the responsibility of vice mayor, which is also another first for the city.

During this In Focus Kentucky segment, multimedia journalist Geraldine Torrellas stopped by Vice Mayor Wu’s office to see how he has been settling into his leadership position within Lexington city government.
