KENTUCKY — Candidates competing in the Democratic and Republican Party primaries for Kentucky’s Commissioner of Agriculture appeared on In Focus Kentucky to discuss a wide range of topics and issues ranging from hemp production, legalization of marijuana and how their administration would work to inspire the next generation of farmers.
During this segment, Mario Anderson spoke with Democrat Sierra Enlow. Enlow is a first-time candidate, who grew up on "multi-generation" family farm in LaRue County and graduated from the University of Kentucky, College of Agriculture where she received degrees in Community & Leadership Development and Agricultural Economics. Enlow works professionally as an economic development consultant.
Mikael Ethan Malone's name will also be listed as a Democratic candidate for voters to choose in the May 2023 primary ballot for Commissioner of Agriculture. Malone declined our invitation to appear for this taping.
