Good evening, Kentucky. We're wrapping up the day for you with the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.
Your Weather Planner
After yet another summer-like day on Thursday, our warm stretch is about to end as widespread showers and storms arrive tonight. Thunderstorms will develop early this evening in far western Kentucky and spread east through the night. Around and after 10 p.m., storms could be affecting the-65 corridor. The I-75 corridor will probably see storms after midnight.
Severe weather is possible, especially west. Damaging winds are the biggest threat, but a few tornadoes and some large hail is also possible.
Tomorrow's Forecast
Showers will end on Friday, with perhaps some lingering in eastern Kentucky into the afternoon. Otherwise, a cooler day awaits with highs 15 to 20 degrees cooler than Thursday.
