1. 'This war has to end soon': Ukraine native reflects on six months since Russia's invasion

This week marks six months since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine. SvitLana Duychak, who lives in Lexington and was visiting family in Kyiv when the war began, said she's worried many have forgotten about the war as time stretches on.

2. Biden signs order to implement semiconductor funding law

The Biden administration says the law will create high-paying jobs, ease supply-chain disruptions, bolster national security and increase competitiveness with China.

3. Kentucky star Rhyne Howard named 2022 WNBA Rookie of the Year

The Wildcat played and started in 34 games for the Dream, averaging 16.2 points per game, which was the 11th most in the league at the end of the regular season.

4. California poised to phase out sale of new gas-powered cars

California climate officials say the state's new policy will be the world's most ambitious because it sets clear benchmarks for ramping up electric vehicle sales over the next dozen years. By 2026, for example, one-third of new cars sold must be electric.
