NASHVILLE, Tn. –  Kentucky native Chris Stapleton is nominated for three Country Music Awards.

The Country Music Association announced the final nominees for the 53rd annual CMA Awards Wednesday.

Lexington-born Stapleton is up for Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the year, and Single of the year for his song “Millionaire.”

Maren Morris is leading all of the musicians with six nominations. Morris is up for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the year and Music video of the year.

“The breadth of Country Music’s landscape is evident in this year’s nominations, and we can’t wait to celebrate our deserving nominees in November, said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer.
