Hurricane Milton is a dangerous storm heading toward the west coast of Florida.

NOAA's Hurricane Hunters have been an important job of flying through the storm, collecting critical data to help improve hurricane forecasting and support research.

NOAA's WP-3D Orion Miss Piggy had a bumpy ride through Milton's eyewall on Tuesday, Oct. 8 as it moved through the Gulf of Mexico as a Category 5 hurricane. Watch the video below.
