LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky is known for good bourbon and good brews, and the latter will take center stage soon during Louisville Beer Week. The community-wide event returns this year, set to run from Oct. 22-29.

This year's celebration is dubbed "The Pouring Twenties," simultaneously a nod to the past and a celebration of the evolving beer scene of the Derby City.

Louisville Beer Week will once again feature beer collaborations, panel discussions, and over twenty events put on by twenty-three breweries, organizers said. Thirsty patrons can now be quenched like never before with a limited-edition “Pouring Twenties” 22 oz. commemorative cup that will be made available in participating brewery taprooms.

Breweries will also release their own version of Scruffy Outlier Pale Ale, a tribute beer named in honor of Monnik Beer Co.’s late head brewer, Scott Hand, who passed away in early September.
