KENTUCKY – In-person unemployment insurance (UI) services are headed to Covington and Prestonburg next week. 


What You Need To Know

  • Will need to bring two forms of identification

People in need of assistance can make appointments online for both locations. The Covington event will go from July 13 to 14 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. while the Prestonburg event will go from July 14 to 15 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. 

Services in Covington will be held at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, located at 1 West River Center Blvd. Free parking will be available at the Kenton County Parking Garage, but people must bring their parking ticket to the convention center for validation.

The Prestonburg event will be held at the Big Sandy Community and Technical College's Johnson Building at 1 Bert T. Combs Drive. 

People must bring two forms of identification such as a driver's license and Social Security card.

Currently, Kentucky has processed 90% of claims and paid out over $3 billion to residents since March.
