FRANKFORT, Ky.  — Governor Andy Beshear announced more testing sites are opening throughout Kentucky beginning next week. Each is different and has different criteria for who can be tested.

Beshear says testing has increased by more than 40% in the past week. The new sites are located in Cadiz, Hazard, Hopkinsville, Mount Vernon, Murray, and Louisville.

Here are the locations you can get a test, these are in addition to health care facilities. 

Kroger Drive-Through Testing

The Kroger sites can do 300-330 tests pers site and everyone is eligible to be tested here. However, you must register at  https://www.thelittleclinic.com/drivethru-testing.

Louisville (Jefferson County)

  • Kroger,  Shawnee Park, 4501 W Broadway
  • Testing conducted Monday, April 27 - Friday, May 8 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Hand sanitizer and face mask to be distributed at the site

Lexington (Fayette County) 

  • Bluegrass Community & Technical College, 500 Newtown Pike
  • Testing conducted Monday, April 27 - Friday, May 8 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Hand sanitizer and face mask to be distributed at this site

Owensboro (Daviess County) – Limited availability

  • Daviess Co- Owensboro Community College, 4800 New Hartford Road
  • Testing conducted Tuesday, April 28 - Thursday, April 30 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Bowling Green (Warren County) 

  • Warren Co- South Warren High School, 8140 Nashville Rd.
  • Testing conducted Tuesday, April 28 - Friday, May 1 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Walgreens Drive-Through Testing

The Walgreens located at 2296 Executive Drive in Lexington will be testing seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

These tests are only for first responders/healthcare workers without symptoms and anyone over 18 years old with symptoms. You must sign up online at Walgreens.com/coronavirus

Walmart Drive-Through Testing

The Walmart at 2020 Bashford Manor Lane in Louisville is also beginning to test patients. Tests at this location will only be for first responders/health care workers without symptoms and anyone over 18 years old with symptoms. Testing begins Wednesday, April 29, and will run seven days a week beginning at 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.

Like the other testing sites, you will need to sign up before getting a test. You can sign up online at doineedacovid19test.com
