Temperatures will begin tumble towards average this weekend.

What You Need To Know

  • Expect a break away from unseasonal heat inland
  • The warmth sticks around Saturday
  • Low clouds will spread away from the coastline during the morning

From Coachella to the Acura Grand Prix, there will be a range of conditions across Southern California this weekend.

The main story will be the cooling temperatures. While highs most of the week were well above the seasonal average, we'll be closer to April standards this weekend.

High pressure will be breaking down due to an approaching trough to the north. It will be a warm weekend nonetheless, with afternoon highs still reaching the low 80s inland Saturday.

Sunday will be the coolest day of the weekend, with high temperatures ranging from the middle to upper 70s.

If you'll be hanging out in Long Beach for the race, expect highs topping out in the upper 60s.

On the other end, weekend one of Coachella will be toasty! Despite cooling by the end of the weekend, afternoon highs will start out almost 20 degrees above seasonal average. Stay hydrated.
