As we head closer to the end of November, the weather is getting more active.

 

 

An atmospheric river is set up across the northern part of the state, and while areas north of the Bay Area is receiving inches of rain this workweek, SoCal has remained dry and pleasant.
 

Moisture will finally work its way south by the time we enter the weekend, but don't expect a deluge.

 

 

Light and scattered rain will spread in for part of Saturday before a break in the rain by the evening. More rain is expected Sunday, but the timing for this next wave is still undetermined. The best shot looks to be late in the day Sunday, with rain continuing into Monday.

 

 

Details regarding rain amounts and timing will be ironed out by the end of the workweek, but one thing for certain is the dip in temperatures. 

 

 

Highs Saturday will be about 10 degrees below average. Temperatures will not warm much Sunday, and this will set the trend for the upcoming holiday week.
