INGLEWOOD, Calif. UCLA will face Mountain West Champion Boise State in the LA Bowl at SoFi Stadium on Dec. 16, the bowl game announced on Sunday.

Boise State earned the right in their 44-20 win over the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in the conference championship game on Saturday.

UCLA, who is departing the Pac-12 after this season, finished fifth in the highly competitive conference.

The teams have squared off only once, with UCLA winning 38-7 in 1999.

The Bronco’s head to LA with an 8-5 record, while the Bruins, who capped off the season with a 38-20 victory over crosstown rivals USC, ended the regular season 7-5.
