Ocean views are met with a harsh contrast of utility loss for the Seaview community in Rancho Palos Verdes.

On Monday, about 100 homes lost power for varying periods of time because of ongoing land movement in the area.

Wednesday night, the community received another announcement, this time from SoCalGas stating that about 30 homes in the area would also lose gas service “indefinitely.”

Now, residents in the community are desperately seeking help from the city to help them stay in their homes.
