HOLLYWOOD — Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz was scheduled to appear on the ABC late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday, according to the network.

The Minnesota governor began a three-day West Coast campaign swing Sunday with a fundraising reception in San Diego.

Walz is set to speak at a campaign reception in Montecito, in Santa Barbara County, at 5:45 p.m. Sunday and arrive at Los Angeles International Airport at 8 p.m.

Walz is set to speak at campaign receptions in Seattle and Sacramento on Tuesday.
