As Los Angeles residents brace for another round of wet weather, city officials are planning out the 2024-2025 fiscal year's budget. Due to lower than expected revenues and about $288 million in overspending, the city is projected to see a $476 million deficit, according to a report by the Office of the City Administrative Officer.

Mayor Karen Bass is scheduled to release the upcoming budget on April 22.
