PALM SPRINGS (CNS) — Vice President Kamala Harris will travel Friday to Palm Springs, but no details about her visit were disclosed.

According to the White House, Harris will depart Joint Base Andrews in Maryland at 11 a.m. California time en route for Palm Springs International Airport.

"The vice president will remain overnight in Palm Springs and return to Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Oct. 2," according to The White House.

No reasons for the visit were disclosed, nor were any details released on where exactly she would be spending the night. There was no indication she will be making any public appearances.
