ORANGE, Calif. — A school bus and an SUV collided Monday in Orange, sending three adults and two children to hospitals.

The crash happened just after 3 p.m. on Santiago Canyon Road near Red Rock Canyon Road, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg Barta. The victims were taken to an area hospital in serious but stable condition, Barta said.

There were two adults in the SUV and a bus driver and two children in the school bus, Barta said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
