JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. — Two minor earthquakes occurred near Riverside County Saturday, but no damage was reported.
A magnitude-3.9 earthquake struck at 10:34 a.m., about 4.7 miles northwest of Jurupa Valley and Eastvale, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was centered about 4.4 miles east of Ontario.
It was preceded by a magnitude-3.5 quake at 10:05 a.m. that was centered 4.4 miles northwest of Eastvale, according to the USGS.
