A preliminary magnitude 3.8 earthquake struck Wednesday morning near San Ramon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor occured at 11:43 a.m. at a depth of more than 6 miles and more than a mile away from San Ramon, USGS reported. It was reportedly felt across the East Bay and even in San Francisco.

Two other quakes struck in that area within minutes of each other. A 2.6 jolted the area at 11:46 a.m. and a 3.0 tremor was felt at 11:58 a.m.

There were no initial reports of damages or injuries, authorities said.
