LOS ANGELES — The COVID-19 pandemic has been a rollercoaster of emotions for just about everyone.
In November 2020, Morgan Stephens tested positive for COVID-19. Initially, she recovered after facing mild symptoms.
“I was sick for about two weeks. Went back to work in the third week, but it was not until about a month that I started to develop new symptoms. Neurological symptoms,” Stephens said.
Stephens said the symptoms continued until she was unable to work full-time. As her desperation grew to find answers and regain her life, she learned about the Keck Medicine of USC’s COVID Recovery Clinic. The clinic in downtown Los Angeles connects patients with a primary care physician, then specialty care to treat COVID long-hauler symptoms.
