The program is an effort to promote responsible alcohol consumption.

Alison Hanrahan, community affairs manager with Molson Coors said, “Our Free Rides program is a crucial part of our alcohol responsibility initiative, ensuring those celebrating the city’s favorite sporting pastime have a free option to get home safely.”

The company said it has provided over 8 million free rides through partnerships with local mass transit. They also sponsor free-ride programs during event like St. Patrick’s Day, New Year’s Eve and other sporting events throughout the country.

Carrie Butler, executive director of TARC added, “TARC is proud of this partnership and thanks Molson Coors for its sponsorship of this weekend-long celebration. As always, TARC will be there to help individuals of all abilities travel to and from their destinations safely.”
