SACRAMENTO, Calif. — As social media evolves, parents said they are trying to keep up and make sure their kids’ mental health is not negatively affected by platforms that many say are addictive.
They aren’t alone.
A new lawsuit filed by dozens of state’s attorneys general — including California’s — accuses Facebook and Instagram’s parent company META of harming and contributing to a mental health crisis among American youths through their platform’s addictive features.
