LOS ANGELES — On Tuesday, President Biden announced plans to end hunger by 2030 and increase physical activity and healthy eating in an effort to curb diet-related diseases.

His administration will commit more than $8 billion as part of its national strategy, which includes providing healthy options to school children and families facing food insecurity.
