The voting process in the 2020 presidential primary got off to a rocky start with the chaos surrounding the Iowa caucuses. Now, it’s nearly our state’s turn.

In Orange County, the Registrar of Voters has been taking steps to make sure votes are counted accurately.
Spectrum News 1 took a look at how this is being done. This is the first year a new voting machine will be used in the fifth largest voting jurisdiction in the country.
The last time the voting system had a digital upgrade from punch cards was in 2003.
