LOS ANGELES — Dr. Regina Lark recorded the experiences of Japanese women who met and married American men during the WWII occupation of Japan and in the post-war period as part of her doctoral dissertation.

Dr. Lark donated the thirty-five audio cassettes of interviews to the Japanese-American National Museum (JANM) in Little Tokyo.

JANM's Kristen Hayashi says the audio tape collection will help move the narrative forward for the history of the Japanese-American experience and will help inform future research and exhibitions at the museum.
