LOS ANGELES — On Thursday, Los Angeles city workers, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, law enforcement and more cleared the sand along Dockweiler Beach during an encampment cleanup.

During the cleanup, individuals experiencing homelessness were offered temporary housing and other resources.

Residents in the area say homelessness is growing in their community, leading to some safety concerns.
