Southern California has a beach for everyone. Whether it’s for surfing, bodyboarding or maybe just hanging out. Spectrum News 1 visited Little Corona del Mar Beach in Newport Beach where a sight-seeing adventure awaits along the shoreline.
“You don’t need anything else,” said long-time visitor and mother of two Alana Flores. “You don’t need toys. You don’t need anything but your hunt for adventure.”
The tide pools of Little Corona del Mar have been a favorite destination for the Flores family for about six years. On this day, the Flores family was joined by their marine biologist friend, Nancy Caruso, who has shown them over the years how to explore this protected area responsibly.
