ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. — Due to recent activity of mountain lions, park officials announced the closure of Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park.

The 2,500-acre park is located in the Trabuco Canyon area in southern Orange County.

It will be closed until further notice "out of an abundance of caution," OC Parks tweeted.
