EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Here in SoCal we’re keeping a very close eye on the Vista Fire in San Bernardino, still at 0% containment and the Santa Barbara Lake Fire, a nearly 29,000 acre fire that is still only at 16% containment.

These massive blazes continue to burn despite above average snowpack and heavy rainfall we saw earlier in the year, so just how bad could these wildfires get if these scorching temperatures continue? Professor Bill Deverell, co-director of the Huntington-USC Institute on California and the West, joined “Your Morning” to discuss.
