ANAHEIM, Calif. — Mickey, Minnie and Mahomes. It's Disney déjà vu.

If Patrick Mahomes keeps winning Super Bowl titles and MVPs, Disney might need to create a house in Toontown for the Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback.

What You Need To Know

  • Disneyland will host a Super Bowl parade featuring Super Bowl LVIII MVP Patrick Mahomes after the quarterback led the Kansas City Chiefs to a championship Sunday

  • Mahomes threw for 333 yards and two touchdowns to beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime in Las Vegas

  • This is the third time Mahomes is starring in Disney's inspirational "I am going to Disneyland" or "I am going to Disney World" commercial and being celebrated at Disneyland or Disney World

  • The Disneyland Super Bowl parade featuring Mahomes begins at 2 p.m. Monday

A repeat visit from last year, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will give Mahomes a high-four on Monday when the Super Bowl LVIII MVP comes to town.

Mahomes once again starred in Disney's inspirational "I am going to Disneyland" or "I am going to Disney World" commercial — his third time — immediately after leading the Chiefs to an overtime Super Bowl LVIII win against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Las Vegas.

The famous Disney commercial, a tradition that began with former New York Giants great Phil Simms in 1987, airs nationally across TV and social media following the big game Sunday.

Disney will then prop Mahomes on top of a ride vehicle and host a cavalcade with dancers holding red and yellow pom poms leading the way down a parade route passing Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A., celebrating the star football player at Disneyland — again.

Mahomes rode down the same parade route last year after he led the team to a Super Bowl championship against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.

The Super Bowl MVP is the third for Mahomes, who won the award last year in Super Bowl LVII and Super Bowl LIV in 2019.

Each has ended with a national Disney commercial, a parade the day after the Super Bowl and a high-four with Mickey and the Disney gang at Disneyland or Walt Disney World.

Mahomes passed for 333 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on Sunday. He threw the game-winning touchdown to Mecole Hardman Jr. with three seconds left in overtime.

The Chiefs repeated as Super Bowl Champions. It's the first time in 20 years since an NFL team has done that.

And Mahomes and his family received another trip to Disneyland.

The Disneyland Super Bowl parade begins at 2 p.m. on Monday.
