“We’re going to be in there pretty much all day and all weekend. We have different things we are excited to see,” Erin Kinsel told Spectrum News.

Kinsel and her sister Erica are visiting from central Illinois. The pair was out getting lunch at Logan Street Market before gates opened.

“I am a one-man-show until about 4 o’clock this afternoon,” Jimmy Robinett said.

Robinett works at Silly Ax Cafe and says the last two weeks of festivals have brought in many new faces to the market.

“Some people even coming in with, like, the rock-n-roll getups, like the outfits and costumes, so that’s been really cool. And just seeing like the joy everybody’s had,” Robinett said.

Speaking of outfits, Izzy Pitts is hanging out with her co-workers at Whiskey Kitchen before she spends the next four days tearing it up.

Pitts is decked out.

“Yeah, I’ve got a little Paramore, I’ve got Scream, here, rocking some chains, you know, I’ve got the whole fit going,” Pitts said.

Pitts agrees the lineup is a great one for hard rock fans.

“Yes, every day is going full at it. You know you’ve got some great ones: Tool, you’ve got Megadeth, Limp Bizkit, Godsmack.”

Louder Than Life runs Sept. 21 to Sept. 24 at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
