Lopez and Maluma will perform "Lonely" and Spanish-language "Pa Ti" at the awards, which will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson and broadcast Sunday, Nov. 22, at 8 p.m. on both coasts, according to a statement.

"The Lopez and Maluma collaboration emphasizes the undeniable crossover success of Latin music this year, as the show has also expanded categories in both Latin and Hip-Hop genres to match its overarching popularity," it said. "Pa Ti" and "Lonely" are two of the songs the pair co-wrote for the "Marry Me" motion picture soundtrack.

The appearance of the Colombia-born Maluma at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles will mark his AMA debut. In contrast, Lopez hosted the AMAs in 2015 and performed in 2018.

The lineup for the awards show includes Bad Bunny, BTS, Dua Lipa, Lil Baby, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, and Shawn Mendes. ABC and dick clark productions say the AMAs is "the world's largest fan-voted awards show."

Nominees are based on key fan interactions — as reflected on the Billboard charts — including streaming, album and digital song sales, radio airplay, and social activity. These measurements are tracked by Billboard and its data partners and reflect the time period of Sept. 27, 2019, through Sept. 24, 2020.

The AMA winners are voted entirely by fans. Voting is still open for all AMA categories and fans can access the official voting ballot for the AMAs directly by visiting TheAMAs.com/Vote.
