I could spend a lot of this listing what the Packers did wrong on Sunday. I’m not pretending they’re perfect. Far from it. But they’re 6-2 after Sunday’s 30-27 victory in Jacksonville.

They find ways to win. That’s what good teams do.

Quarterback Jordan Love left the game with a groin injury. For the third time this season, Malik Willis responded to the challenge. This time, he didn’t have the whole week to prepare. He was thrown into the hot fire in second half.

For the second straight week, Brandon McManus kicked the game-winning field goal for the Packers. This one from 24 yards out.

So the Packers won the game in large part because of two guys who weren’t even with them in training camp. Willis and McManus. Kudos to Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst and his pro personnel staff.

Now, the 6-1 Detroit Lions come to Lambeau Field next Sunday. Huge game. Not the Super Bowl but very important in the NFC North Division. The road team won both games in the series last season. This is going to be fun.
