LEXINGTON, Ky. — Twelve horses were killed in a massive barn fire that broke out early Friday morning, the Lexington Fire Department said.
The fire was reported just after 2 a.m. Friday, Jessica Bowman with the Lexington Fire Department told our partner, the Herald Leader.
The bar is located on the 300 block of South Yarnallton Pike. It was engulfed in flames when first responders arrived and is a total los, Bowman told the Herald Leader. One person suffered minor injuries and 12 horses died in the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
