A clearing sky, wet ground, and light winds will set us up for widespread fog potential after midnight. Some of the fog could be dense so use caution if traveling. Temperatures will stay mild in the 40s for most areas.
Fog could linger through midday Tuesday along the lakeshore and with an onshore breeze, locations closer to the lake will be much cooler than other areas. Places across southern and central Wisconsin will climb well into the 60s by afternoon as a warm front pushes north. Along and south of this warm front, strong to severe storms could develop by late Tuesday afternoon. The best chance of seeing this will be across far southern Wisconsin.
On Wednesday, we'll be on the backside of a larger low pressure system will clouds, gusty north winds and scattered showers continuing for much of the day.
Beautiful weather then arrives on Thursday and continues into the weekend with a substantial warming trend. By Saturday, many locations could be well into the 70s!
