Our sky will clear quickly tonight behind a strong cold front and temperatures will turn much colder with northern Wisconsin dropping into the 20s and 30s across southern parts of the state.

We'll start off with sunshine on Thursday but clouds will quickly build by midday leading to scattered rain and snow showers across the state by afternoon. It will also be a very windy day with northwest winds gusting close to 40 mph at times. Temperatures will only warm into the 40s but it will feel much colder with the wind.

Friday looks a little nicer with a slight rebound in temperatures and not as much wind.

As we head into the weekend, we will be tracking another system moving into Wisconsin. Rain will become widespread by Saturday night and continue into Sunday. Some parts of the state could see snow mixing in by Sunday night.

Even colder air could arrive by early next week!
