As we go through tonight, expect a few showers to develop in parts of the state. By Monday morning, look for pockets of heavy rain and even a few thunderstorms. That will be our theme to start the work week: rainy and windy. The rain may continue through the bulk of the day Monday with a few thunderstorms from time to time. An isolated severe storm cannot be ruled out.
On Tuesday, temps will go up a bit thanks to a Westerly wind. We may still see a few scattered showers thanks to a storm system just to our North. However, some sunshine will return for parts of Wisconsin.
By the middle part of the week, it's back to sunshine and comfortable temperatures with readings staying in the 70s. The humidity will stay in check as well. Overall, a fairly quiet finish to the month of August.
