The snow showers held on a bit longer than they were expected; kind of like relatives around the holiday season! That disturbance moves out this evening, and it takes a lot of the cloud cover with it.

As we head into Thursday, look for a good amount of sunshine across the area. Along with a southwest flow, temps will warm into the mid to upper 30s. More sunshine and even warmer air is expected to close out the week.

By Saturday, things really look to warm up: someone could be close to 50°! That won't last into Sunday as out next storm system gets closer. Look for clouds and highs near 40° for the 2nd half of the weekend.

Our focus will turn toward Monday evening as that next system arrives. Expect rain in the Southern part of the state and light snow up North. We'll continue to monitor and give you updates on that system.
