Wisconsin Badgers' basketball star Johnny Davis is jumping to the NBA.
The star fromLa Crosse Central High School in La Crosse, Wis. made the official announcement on ESPN's "Inside the NBA" show Thursday afternoon.
Davis was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and a first-team All-American in his sophomore year at UW, this past season.
He averaged about 20 points and 8 rebounds per game in 2022.
Davis is expected to be an NBA lottery pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and could be the first Badger selected in the top 10 of the NBA Draft since Frank Kaminsky in 2015.
