LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The ACC/Big Ten Challenge between Louisville and Wisconsin is back on and set for a high noon tipoff Saturday, Dec. 19. ESPN2 will televise the game.

Originally the game was set for Dec. 9 but was postponed when Louisville paused its program indefinitely because of COVID-19 issues.  The Cards game on Dec. 4 against UNC Greensboro was canceled and the Dec. 16 game with NC State was postponed.

The team had its first practice in nine days Saturday after pausing activities on Dec. 3.

Right now Louisville is ranked 22nd by USA Today and No. 23 by the Associated Press in the Dec. 14 polls.  The Cardinals have won their first four games of the season.  The Cardinals last played a game on Dec. 1 and when they take to the court on Dec. 19 at Wisconsin it will be the longest in-season stretch without a game in 65 years.  The Cards went 19 days between playing a regular-season game on Feb. 29, 1956, and its next game on March 19 in the first game of the NIT.
