Natalie Sopyla is a multimedia journalist at Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin. She was born and raised in Kansas City and graduated from the University of Missouri in 2020 with a degree in journalism.

After graduating from college, Natalie embarked on her professional journey as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist at WAOW News 9 in Wausau, Wisconsin. While there, she had the chance to cover major breaking news stories, interview prominent political figures, and report on issues impacting the local community. She’s excited to continue telling stories that matter in her new role at Spectrum News 1.

When not covering the latest news, Natalie can be found exploring all the natural beauty Wisconsin has to offer, checking out local restaurants and bars, enjoying the live music scene, and hanging out with her partner and her cat.
