WISCONSIN — The major trend that decided the 2016 election was white voters without a college degree leaving the Democratic party and backing Donald Trump, especially in Rust Belt states like Michigan and Pennsylvania.

But in Wisconsin, another trend seems to have contributed to Hillary Cinton's loss- and now both parties are keeping a close eye on Black voters in the Badger State.

Washington correspondent Taurean Small, assisted by political producer Maureen McManus, examined a report concluding that Black voter turnout dropped by nearly 20% from 2012 to 2020, and connected virtually with Wisconsin voters to talk about why some people felt their votes weren't important four years ago.
