DAYTON — The Super Bowl kicks off Sunday, but before the football players take the field, many eyes will be watching the dogs.

Team Ruff and Team Fluff will face off in the ever-adorable Puppy Bowl XXI, but some of the canines may look familiar to Ohio viewers.

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton has three dogs joining the teams on Sunday: Zinnia, Jolene and Pumpkin. 

The dogs are split between both teams, so it will be a win for the humane society no matter what.

Jolene, Team Ruff, is an American Pit Bull Terrier / American Staffordshire Terrier. Pumpkin, an American Pit Bull Terrier / American Staffordshire Terrier, is on Team Fluff alongside Zinnia, a Norwegian Elkhound / Australian Cattle Dog.

Puppy Bowl XXI begins at 2 p.m. ahead of the Super Bowl on Animal Planet.
