OHIO — The Southwest Ohio Burglary Task Force has had an ongoing investigation into a string of burglaries targeting multimillion-dollar homes, which has led to the arrests and indictments of four Chilean men.

On Tuesday, a Clark County grand jury indicted the four men of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, participating in a criminal gang and possessing criminal tools.

Jordan Francisco Sanchez, 22; Alexander Esteban Huaiquil-Chavez, 24; Bastian Alejandro Morales, 23; and Sergio Andres Cabello, 38, each face the alleged charges. They were arrested on Jan. 10 and remain in custody in the Clark County Jail.

Attorney General Dave Yost created the task force last year to investigate the home break-ins that were occurring in Hamilton County. It is comprised of members of of the Amberly Village Police Department, Forest Park Police Department, Cincinnati Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery Police Department and Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office.

The FBI, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Homeland Security Investigations assisted the task force. The case is being prosecuted by the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigation remains ongoing.
