AUSTIN, Texas  — If you’re seeking something to get you into the Halloween spirit and you live in or around Austin, this might be for you.

Renowned director Robert Rodriguez will screen his personal 35mm print of his 1996 film “From Dusk Till Dawn” at the Paramount Theatre on Monday, Oct. 28.

Joining Rodriguez for a live intro and Q&A will be legendary special makeup effects artist Greg Nicotero.

If you’re not familiar, Nicotero’s work is on display in countless movies, everything from George A. Romero’s “Day of the Dead” to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

He also served as executive producer of the AMC series “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead.”

Directed by Rodriguez and written by Tarantino, “From Dusk Till Dawn” has a star-studded cast and is about a pair of one-the-run bank robbers who get in way over their heads when they take a family hostage and cross into Mexico only to find themselves trapped in a saloon with a horde of vampires.

The film stars Tarantino, George Clooney, Harvey Keitel, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, Juliette Lewis and Fred Williamson.

You’ll want to stick around after the movie. Rodriguez will screen a second film he has selected, and which will be named on the night.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 7.
