This is the first NTT IndyCar Series event at the historic one-mile oval at Wisconsin State Fair Park since 2015. The event runs from Aug. 30 through Sept. 1.

It also marks the first-ever IndyCar doubleheader weekend at the Milwaukee Mile, with full NTT IndyCar Series races on Saturday and Sunday.

Ahead of the big event, American motor sports racing driver Santino Ferrucci joined Spectrum News to talk about what it means to be racing in Milwaukee.

“It’s been almost a decade since we’ve been back and it is an incredible event and beautiful time to be here,” said Ferrucci. “The Milwaukee Mile is very unique. It is very hard racing. The track is super historic and bumpy. We do have free fan events going on all weekend and tickets start as low as $10. It’s a great family weekend.”

The event also features a Free Fan Zone located in Wisconsin State Fair Park, just outside the Milwaukee Mile Grandstands. Fans can grab food, enjoy live music and participate in family fun programs before or after the Hy-Vee Milwaukee Mile 250s doubleheader.
