MILWAUKEE — Former President Donald Trump was whisked off the stage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night after a shooting that killed at least one rally attendee. According to the former president, he was "shot with a bullet" that pierced part of his ear.

The shooting is being investigated as an assassination attempt, law enforcement officials told The Associated Press.

The suspected shooter, who fired shots from an elevated position outside the rally, was killed by the United States Secret Service.

Congressman Derrick Van Orden joined our Sachelle Saunders on set to discuss the potential assassination attempt earlier Saturday evening.
