MILWAUKEE — Wisconsin’s first-ever tornadoes in February hit Wisconsin, on Thursday evening. 

Meteorologist Jesse Gunkel said basically all factors like record-heat, moisture in the atmosphere plus wind shear helped produce the spin in the atmosphere to cause the tornado.

Gunkel explains it was a unique set up of all the factors coming together to cause the tornado, because it’s typical of late spring.
