SHOREWOOD, Wis. — This Halloween, Wisconsinites are bundled up to either pass out candy or trick-or-treat.

  • One resident had a fire pit outside ready for those who were trick-or-treating

  • Many passed out candy and enjoyed costumes

Tony Seppy had a fire pit outside ready for those trick-or-treating.

“It’s coming in handy,” said Seppy. “Some kids have already commented how they like it.”

Seppy said he enjoys not only passing out candy but also seeing the different costumes.

“There was an Indiana Jones that was really well done,” said Seppy. “A Merlin from the old-school Disney that was really solid. Anything where kids put some effort in it, and the parents too, it’s great.”

Cassidy Hahn and her friends decided to skip trick-or-treating this year and pass out Halloween candy instead.

“They’re both really fun because you can run around with your friends and while you’re passing out candy, it’s really nice to see the little kids,” said Hahn. “It’s really fun.”

The holiday has something for everyone, but Seppy said he was happy everyone was having fun.

“They’re very happy to receive and every time you can do that and take in tradition is a joy,” said Seppy.

It’s a tradition he said he’ll continue doing for many Halloweens to come.
