MILWAUKEE — It’s tradition for Giselle Soto and her family to be the first ones in line for a Milwaukee Bucks game.

“We usually come in line first, especially for any game to get signatures or pictures with players,” said Soto.

She’s rooted on the Bucks for as long as she could remember.

“I grew up watching the Bucks, so part of a childhood thing of mine,” said Soto. “I’ve been a Bucks fan since I was really young and I’m still one to this day.”

Like many fans, she’s eager to watch Giannis Antetokounmpo hit the court with Damian Lillard.

“I’m excited for Lillard,” said Soto. “I think he’s a good component to the Bucks. Him and Giannis make a really good duo and hopefully they’re going to help us win more championships.”

Same goes for Mack Hooyman, who traveled from Appleton to watch his favorite team.

“The atmosphere is going to be pretty cool tonight with Damian Lilllard,” said Hooyman. “It’s the first time we landed a big free agent since Jrue Holiday and we can’t miss that.”

One of the most recognizable fans in the crowd is Milwaukee attorney David Gruber.

“I’m excited for the city,” he said. “I’m excited for the team. Lot of juice. Lot of excitement around this building. It’s still early. It’s going to be a long and happy winter. Remember that long and happy winter.”

All are hopeful this excitement continues throughout the season.

“One thing I expect for tonight is that I hope the Bucks win and Fiserv has good energy,” said Soto.

Enough energy from the fans to help lead the Bucks to another championship.
